    Flashcards and multiple-choice questions due for review come together in a daily session. The FSRS spaced repetition algorithm adapts their next reviews to your answers and review history.

A review schedule that adapts to you.

After you import your courses and create flashcards and multiple-choice questions, Oria schedules their reviews with FSRS. This spaced repetition algorithm uses your answers and review history to estimate what you remember and calculate the next review date for each card or question.

A forgotten concept comes back sooner for more practice. As you get more confident with it, reviews become more spaced out. Items that are due join your daily review, so you know what to work on without building your own schedule.

Who is Oria for?

Oria is for students who want to import their courses and turn them into study materials. Practice with quizzes and flashcards, then return to what needs reviewing each day. You can also take notes on iPad with Apple Pencil.

What course materials can I import?

Oria supports importing PDFs, Word and PowerPoint documents, text, photos, audio, and YouTube or web links. Limits and availability depend on the format and platform and are shown during import.

Can I take notes on iPad with Apple Pencil?

Yes. In the iPad app, you can handwrite notes with Apple Pencil, annotate PDFs and practice directly from your documents. Apple Pencil handwriting is an iPad app feature.

How do my notes connect to my reviews?

From a document linked to a chapter, you can create flashcards from selected content. These cards join spaced repetition. Exercises created from documents also join daily review on iPad.

What is in daily review?

It brings together flashcards and multiple-choice questions due for review, plus available recall activities. Oria uses FSRS, a spaced repetition algorithm that adjusts the next review of each card and question based on your answers and review history. Difficult concepts come back sooner; those you know well are reviewed at longer intervals. Each day, you find what is scheduled without having to plan the dates yourself. On iPad, the session can also include exercises linked to your documents.

How does the Feynman technique work in Oria?

Explain a concept or chapter aloud or in writing. Oria gives feedback, lets you explain difficult points again and can create flashcards from remaining gaps.

Can I start for free?

Yes! Oria offers a generous free version to import your courses, practice and get into a study routine. You can also take notes, and upgrade to Oria+ whenever you want to go further.
